Taking into account the considerable extension works, the museum has a surface area of more than 4700 m2. (exhibition rooms, laboratories, activities, services, etc..)
Guided tours are available. Note that while children (up to 18) are allowed in for free, the displays are of limited interest to the very young - you will have to make a real effort to fire their imaginations and animate the wonderful, but very static displays of stone and bone tools, paleolithic engravings and sculpture - all in glass cases.
